Sanjeev Mohindra leads the AI Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, advancing artificial intelligence that strengthens national security. His team develops next- generation capabilities in foundation models, scientific discovery, multi-agent systems, and safe and resilient AI, with emphasis on real-world operations. Mohindra’s research focuses on AI engineering for scalable, mission-ready solutions, including distributed architectures that coordinate across domains and systems that can sense, decide, and act in dynamic environments. He works to ensure robust performance under adversarial conditions and to enable trusted human-machine decision making. Before joining the Laboratory, he helped build smart computing and storage solutions at a startup and provided technology consulting at Arthur D. Little. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
